It's day one of the Jubilee bank holiday, but I admit to only watching some of the pomp and circumstance on the TV. I reflected to my youngest son that in comparison to the Silver Jubilee of 1977, people really aren't as invested nationally as they were back then. I won't be sad to eventually leave the admin post probably later on this year, but I don't see that happening as yet. In May, the full grad season will be upon us, with even more previous years' ceremonies taking place.
